Role: Design Engineer and Engineer of Record
VIE has designed thousands of seismic braces for MEP systems and equipment anchorage for several DataBank facilities. Bracing design also included assessment of other structural systems, such as equipment support frames, hot aisle containment structures, emergency power banks, and more.
VIE started on this project 5 years ago and has been providing seismic engineering services continuously since then. VIE has worked with DataBank on various projects in the Salt Lake City locations, throughout the different phases of data center construction. This enhances the ability of already fortified and strategically located data centers to optimize client operations.
